Rosé Wine Sangria with Mixed Berry Ice Ring
1 cup blueberries, 1 cup strawberries, 1 cup raspberries, 1 cup black berries, 2 bottles of rose wine, distilled water (Very important. I used tap water and the cubes were too frosty throughout. I think distilled will make the cubes pristine clear.), 8 ounces rum, 4 ounces of Campari or as I used, Triple Sec, 2 ounces lemon juice, 8 ounces of simple syrup. I made a simple syrup made with Splenda,
To make the ice cubes - divide berries up in a large silicone ice cube maker and top with distilled water. Or put berries into a bunt pan and fill up with distilled water half way up. Put into the freezer until it is hardened and you make your sangria.
In a punch bowl, pour in all of the wine and liquor with simple syrup and plunk in the frozen mixed berry ring.
Simple syrup is simple a 50/50 measure of water and sugar (or sweetener) in a pot. Bring to a boil then simmer until 1/2 reduced.
